The 9.7' JL Kwad is one of my favorites around the shop. Its similar to the striker in that it has a very smooth feel. The extra rocker helps make it more forgiving than the striker. The quad setup really loosens it up! Good in weak waves and super fun in waist high plus. The 31" width keeps it very stable in open ocean chop. Not a great flat water paddler as the small quad set up leans towards tight turns and poor tracking, that being said i have paddled flat water several times and it always gets me there:) It's a very forgiving board and is great for people learning to ride waves but is well suited for advanced surfers. A really nice all around wave board and the JL construction is 2nd to none! We currently have one available for demo... so stop by and take it for a cruz, before we sell it!
