I have been riding the switchblades for about 2 months now. I have been kiting for 12 years and teaching for 10. I have ridden 100 of kites in all different shapes sizes and designs. The 2012 Cabrinha switchblades are as good as anything out there. Smooth liner power, very stable(stable enough to teach on) nice bar pressure even in the smaller sizes, something that a lot of kite designs miss, and the jumping performance is great. I have been paddling for 3 years and have never really put much importance on my paddle. After trying the QuickBlade full carbon I was sold. The weight is amazing, the feel of the blade through the water, and the flex of the shaft make all the difference in the world. I have been shooting with the GoPro hero for nearly two years and have recently upgraded to the Hero 2. I have to say im blown away by the new camera! The image quality on still shots is amazing for such a small camera. The photos are fully editable using PS5 which is something i really needed as a semi pro photographer. This is the best kite all around kite on the market! This kite does everything well but is aimed at freestyle riding. It's C shape makes it great for kite looping and great for unhooking. It has a big wind range and lots of depower. The new wingtip design makes for an easy water realaunch. Although the kite is super light it has impressive durability. Highly recommended for aggresive riders!..

The 2012 Cabrinha Swichblade Quicklink IDS kite continues to deliver! 6 out of 5 Stars! A+ grade! I have had a couple of chances to fly and ride both the 12m and 14m Cabrinha 2012 Switchblades over the last two weeks. The 14m is a great light wind machine and turns pretty well for a kite that big and has beyond impressive low end power. I was actually able to ride it lit up with my new 2012 Cabrinha Raceboard in about 10-15 knots. I kind of felt bad as I was the only one out in our fluke..
