I have been riding both the rusty 9.8 and 10' for the past few months. When the surf gets good these are my go to boards! At waist high plus these boards flat out rip! The overall ride feels like a big high performance surfboard! Quick turning, really fast down the line, nice off the tops! Rusty is a proven shaper and the boards reflect that. If you come from a surf background or want to take your wave riding to the next level, this is the board for you! At 145lbs I tend to like the 9.8 best but bigger guys will dig the 10.0''. Both boards paddle surprisingly well in flat water and track great for wave boards. I have paddled the 9.8 for several miles in flat water with no problem, but the surf is where these boards belong! For pure high performance wave riding you cant go wrong with either Rusty! Highly recommend!
